An observational study evaluating pregnancy outcomes in women who took asthma medication prior to conception or at any time during pregnancy.
- The first patient was enrolled October 27, 2006. By August 2009, the month DAC signed a contract, there were 65 patients enrolled.
- DAC implemented initiatives that went live during December 2009, including the website, aggressive online marketing, banner ads, newsletters, and physician-focused publications.
- From January to December 2009, an average 2.09 patients enrolled per month. From December 2009 to March 2010, an average 4.8 patients enrolled per month. Since DAC initiatives were employed, 17 subjects enrolled in 3 months—a 34.7% increase in enrollment activity.
