PharmaVOICE Magazine Names Vaughn X. Anthony Among "100 Most Inspiring People" in the Life-Sciences Industry

Dallas, TX - Vaughn X. Anthony, senior vice president of marketing and communications for global patient recruitment organization D. Anderson & Company (DAC), has been named one of the '100 Most Inspiring People in the Life-Sciences Industry' by PharmaVOICE magazine. Each year, the magazine’s readership identifies professionals like Anthony who are shaping the future of life sciences through innovation and outstanding achievement.

"It’s an honor to be recognized by my peers in this way," Anthony said. "I am but one of countless life-sciences professionals who work tirelessly to promote the importance of clinical research. I take this recognition as a challenge to keep pushing forward."

When he joined DAC in 1995 as a creative consultant, Vaughn quickly set about building the company’s creative services department from the ground up. Since that time, he has emerged as "an industry thought leader and the company’s creative inspiration," according to DAC President and CEO Diana Anderson, Ph.D.

In a span of 14 years, Vaughn has vaulted through the ranks from Director of Creative Services to Senior Vice President of Operations before being promoted to his current position. Today, as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, he leads DAC’s accomplished team of artists, writers, graphic designers, and print production personnel. Together they produce acclaimed concepts for the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Vaughn’s artistry is matched only by his altruism. He has offered his creative services pro bono to The Center for Information & Study on Clinical Research Participation. An ordained minister, he faithfully serves his church and Coppell community through spiritual support and social outreach. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Reaching Out Touching Lives, a Dallas-based nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial assistance to families impacted by catastrophic disease.

With offices in Seattle, Houston and Dallas, DAC is a subsidiary of D.L. Anderson International. The company is certified as a Women-Owned Business (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and a continuing education provider through the California Board of Registered Nursing.
